With Fed Decisions Hovering Stocks Step Back

We have arrived at Fed week once again.  This Fed week is special, however, as there is speculation about not only whether the Fed will raise rates and what they will do about divesting  themselves of their portfolio of government and Mortgage securities but also about who will be the new Fed Chairman.  The front runner is Jay Powell with several other long shots including Janet Yellen still in the mix.  President Trump is scheduled to reveal his choice Thursday.  The Dow lost 85 points in a rare down session today.
