One of the major tenets of Aurora property management is reporting on local and current events. We have several people moving here each week, and who need new homes fast. We have a lot of active duty military members that are reporting for tours at the Buckley Air Force Base. Often these people will be moving here with their entire families, who are used to moving by this point in their lives. However, the beginning of a move and the beginning of school will often mean there are times where you have no idea what to do in your city. Sometimes you don’t even have time to do anything yet after you are getting unpacked, settled and getting used to a new life. Sometimes people have never lived in Colorado and will take some time to acclimate to the new lifestyle. For one thing it is 5280 feet elevation which can take some time to get used to. You will need to get used to the air, how much dryer it is, and how altitude can affect your bloodstream. Drinking in high altitude will get you much drunker much quicker. It is not uncommon to get dehydrated easily form the altitude which can lead to altitude sickness. To make this story short, it can be a while until you finally get around to an event in the community. What better event this week then the Quincy Reservoir Sunset Stroll.
The Quincy Reservoir Sunset Stroll will be happening this weekend and will be held by the Aurora Recreation Center. Everyone will meet at the reservoir at around 5:00pm and will see the sunset across the vast reservoir. Everyone will be on the lookout for wildlife. This event is free and for all ages. Even if you are not a part of the Aurora community you are encouraged to come and stop by.
