In Honor of Pearl Harbor ~ December 7, 1941

Hello Wanda...

Thank you for rembering Pearl Harbor Day.

I was watching the New York Giants beating the Brooklyn Dodgers at a football game in the Polo Grounds in New York. During the middle of the 4th quarter, the public address announcer starting making announcements over the PA system: " Will Admiral so and so call your office, Will General so and so call your office". Driving home in the car, we learned about the bombing of Pearl Harbor. The next day FDR, declared war.

Hi Wanda... God bless those who perished on that day of infamy. And God bless all of our brave military heroes since and those who serve today. I think too many have forgotten about this event... I was born in the 1940's so Pearl Harbor was not "old" history to me. But to many younger people this is ancient history.

Anyone who has seen the Arizona cannot help but be moved by what happened. Thanks for sharing your thoughts.

Hi Wanda, totally agree.  We need to always remember the men and women that died at Pearl Harbor on that dreadful day on Dec 7.
