Sunday Morning Thoughts on My State of America
The U.S. of A. was built upon the hard work of people desiring a much better life. Some navigated through treacherous waters, extremely unsanitary conditions, braving horrific elements to become free citizens.
To become Americans and live an American life was the goal.
No longer is the thought to improve America but to systematically tear it down, to completely destroy, bit by bit, what our forefathers created with their raw muscle, blood and sweat. All in an effort to erase history.

Our 4th of July Dinner Menu
We will be serving Freedom burgers in Allegiance with a United side of All-American fries plus Constitutionally, Patriotic-packed beverages. For dessert, enjoy a slice of home-made, Justified cherry pie. Musical entertainment at the Legendary Silo to be provided by the Red, White and Blues Band.
At dusk, the National Anthem will Proudly play, followed by an Independently unparalleled, Declarated fireworks display. It Stands to be Indivisible! Won't you take the Liberty and Pledge in celebration with us?

What is a true American hero?
A hero:
earns the name by stepping up even when in harms way.
proudly wears medals on the uniform rather than numbers.
is measured by service rather than touchdowns or home runs.
celebrates as a team for accomplishing strategically set goals.
bravely faces the unknown by intently meeting it head on.
loves America and willingly fights for all our freedoms.
spends a career in the U.S. Navy and would do it again.
gets up, dresses up and supports God, Country and Family First.
currently lives in our household and is called my husband.

Making it Home for Dinner
Today is a heart wrenching occasion, looking back at all who perished in the coordinated attacks by terrorists that held zero respect for life or for that matter, liberty. Their victims were going about their daily lives, productive people in society. They had purpose!
2,975 innocent people never made it home for dinner or had a chance to hug and kiss their loved ones goodbye that day. The immediate deaths included 250 on the four planes, 2,606 in the World Trade Center and in the surrounding area, and 125 at the Pentagon.

In Honor of Pearl Harbor ~ December 7, 1941
When we were in Honolulu, Hawaii, visiting the Pearl Harbor and USS Arizona memorial was high on the list. Upon entering the room, the solemn respect for those lives lost was evident. As the video recounting the tragedy began to play, silent tears rolled down my face for each and every person who perished that day.
Let us gives thanks to our military personnel who step up every day despite any and all conditions here and across the world to protect our interests and keep us safe from harm. God bless them all!

Abraham Lincoln is one of my favorite U.S. Presidents. In his day, honest intentions ruled personal and professional relationships, not a hyped up, damaging rhetoric to fulfill an agenda. Candidates spoke more of what they could do for our country and its people, with:
Less rumor mongering Less hearsay and Less pointing dirty fingers in the faces of other peoples lives
