We were happy and grateful to see that many of the farmers braved the smoke and ashes to show up with their organic goodies.
Carrots and other vegetables were plentiful, and some of the stands were half of their usual size.
This couple pictured above was playing classical music. We stopped to listen. Whatever, they were playing it was half sad and half happy... It reflected the mood of the day! The music played on!
As we were leaving, we looked up and saw the first blue skies of the week appear breaking through the smoky skies. We are grateful that it is almost over for our area. Ashes are still raining on us, and we are happy that the sun is looking like its old self.
It's a new day. We all begin again...
