This is our entry into "Making 2018 the Best Year Yet - An ActiveRain Challenge" sponsored by Debbie Reynolds.
I had to wait until today to write this, as goal Number 1 has been in the works since January 3rd, and yesterday was achieved!
Suzanne and I were invited to partner with one of the highest producing teams in our MLS as they expand into other geographic areas of the valley. We live in Anthem (Northwest Valley) and their primary focus is North Scottsdale. 2017 numbers - 130 transactions, $70,000,000 volume, Average Sales Price $553K, many listings over $1M.
Several weeks of in depth discussion and ironing out the "game plan" came to a successful conclusion yesterday! We are proud to announce that we are now on board with the Bloom Van Omen Luxury Group, led by Andrew Bloom, and will be starting transition activities immediately.
They are based at the same brokerage as we are, so re-branding from Haven Express to BVO Luxury Group will be the most labor intensive piece of the puzzle - aiming to be complete by Tuesday of next week.
Goal Number 2 - the ever present need to focus on health and weight. We are "eating right", and have found that "low carb" works best for us, the next piece of the puzzle is to become more consistent with our exercise regimen. Our new schedule does accomodate our time blocked earlier in the day for the Anthem Community Center "Fitness Floor" - so we are on track to reach our goals this year!
Goal Number 3 - based on the numbers we reviewed in Goal Number 1 - our goal is to eliminate all "debt" by the end of 2018. Without revealing the confidential "secret sauce" of the financials, our revenue promises to be about double that of our best ever year in real estate - 2005 - when our team closed just over $16,000,000 volume.
It's going to be a very interesting year!
