Zuma & Trancas Canyon in Malibu, CA is a great place to hike! The trails range from easy to moderate and the vistas are pretty great!
One of the main reasons I choose this hike was to explore a water creek! For most of the hike I didn't see any water (dry spell) but! I'm happy to report, I did come across small pools of water at the end of the Zuma Canyon Trail.

It can get pretty hot on the trail with strong sun exposure, so be sure to bring sunglasses, a hat, water and some healthy hiking snacks. Depending on how much exploring you wish to do and how fast of a hiker you are, you could be there for 1.5 hours to 5 hours.
Happy Trails!
