My happy hour at home beer selection was the Raging Bitch Belgian IPA from Flying Dog Brewery in Frederick, Maryland. Alc. by Vol. 8.3%. This is an excellent selection if you love India Pale Ale. Hi Roy,  I was born and grew up in Green Bay and right outside of the city was a large Belgian Community.  Attaching a clever title to a brew, who knows.   I once worked for a huge 5-state bakery and we spent lots of time on marketing, packaging, and names. Can imagine that time was spent on the name:  Raging Bitch....

The Main Street Farmers & Artists Market Sizzles this Weekend
Summer is unofficially upon us, and what better way to welcome it than with a spectacular Memorial Day cookout? The Main Street Farmers and Artists Market has everything you need including great cuts of pasture-raised meats, fresh crab cakes, vegetables and desserts.  Once you've lit the coals and cooked your meat, it seems like a waste to let all that good heat go to waste without cooking something else. Grill mushrooms, onions, and even radishes.  When the coals cool down serve up fresh baked cookies and cupcakes for dessert and don't forget to set a pot of red, white and blue petunias on the table.   The Main Street Farmers and Artists Market is open on Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. under the Main Street Pavilion.

Grilled radishes are bite-sized beauties that are juicy, flavorful and tender ~ a perfect summer treat to accompany grilled steak.
 
Ingredients
  • Radishes
  • Olive oil
  • Kosher salt
  • Black pepper
Directions
Heat the grill to medium-high (375-400F degrees).
