Macro a Vegetarian Thai Dumplings for Lunch

Chef Dolores pan fried some Macro a Vegetarian Thai Dumplings for our lunch. This the first time we tried them and they are very good. We used some Mae Ploy Sweet Chilli Sauce for dipping. By the way, this chili sauce is one of our favorites.

These dumplings are already cooked. You can eat them our of the box, warm them in your microwave or steam them. We prefer them pan fried. Click on the links to learn more about these selections.

"When the war began in 1939, I was four years old. My family and I were forced into the Lodz ghetto where I spent six years. Each day my father would hide me because the Nazis wanted to take away the children. I lived in constant fear."
-Sylvia Rozines

Sylvia Rozines was born Syvvia Permuter in 1935 in Lodz, Poland. In 1939, Sylvia, her parents Isaac and Haya, and her older sister Dora, were among the 160,000 Jews the Germans forced to live in the Lodz ghetto. In 1942, when the Germans began searching the ghetto for young children, Sylvia's father scrambled around daily to find a place for Sylvia to hide. In 1944, he hid Sylvia and 11 other children in a ghetto cellar where they lived for a year. In 1945, The Soviet army liberated the Jews, but not before many of them had died. Of the 160,000 Jews who lived in the Lodz ghetto, only 800 adults and 12 children survived. Sylvia and her family were among the survivors.
