Coming up this Saturday 9/15/18 from 10:00am to 1:00pm there will be the annual computer and electronics recycling event.  This occurs once a year and is a great opportunity for anyone in Highlands Ranch property management to rid of the outdated technology that may plague an office space.  This happens once a year in Highlands Ranch and is a great resource for safely and correctly discarding these types of items.  This will be in the Kaiser Permanente Parking Lot and Techno Rescue will be hosting the event once again.  They properly and safely dispose of old electronics components that contain materials that are very harmful to the environment.  Many old electronics like Monitors and CRTs contain many internal components that really should not be thrown away in your local dumpster or trash.  This computer clutter does not belong in a landfill, and therefore should be disposed of properly.  This is the easiest way to do your part for contributing to a clean and safe environment and to get rid of the old computer clutter cluttering up your office spaces.  Businesses are welcome and encouraged.  There can be special pricing if you have a large enough volume of electronics to be disposed of.  Old TV’s are candidates for this day.  Televisions will cost $50 for up to 42-inch displays.  The Highlands Ranch Community Association is hosting its event for you to get rid of any radios, cell phones, fax machines, printers, palm pilots, computer mice, stereos, laptops and more.  The only special charges are levied against the CRT monitors and televisions up to 42 inches.  AS you may know old tv’s have many harmful internal components and they should be thrown out accordingly.  If you or anyone you know has managed to hang on to a tv like this in 2018, we commend you.  That is a pretty big feat.  You should consider getting rid of it at this event.  You owe it to yourself to get a modern tv and see just how far displays have come in just the past few years.  However, if we eradicate these old technologies, this event may no longer be able to justify its existence.  Until that point, come on down and recycle these old electronics.
