Our practice does things a little differently than most...and now we have begun to add a "sweet dimension" to it ! We have delivered Halloween candy to some of our referral partners for years. The baskets were well received....AND ...to our surprise the recipients left them in their reception area AND added our business cards sprinkled in the baskets.....and yes....people who are waiting for a service do get a sweet treat...And Do pick up our card....and it does result in sweet new buyers and Sellers !
Our flock of turkeys landed at various businesses before the Gobblers' big day.....and we know as we are now replacing the Turkeys with Christmas treats...that some of our business cards were gobbled up as well !
We have referred business to these partners...written marketing materials....posts and suggested promotions...it has been and continues to be a mutually beneficial relationship ! The spirit of contribution is alive and well on both sides with benefits for everyone. You get some facetime with a referral partner..."reward possible mutual clients" and both enjoy the results !
Go ahead...think outside the box...don't you have business partners that have the same clients you seek in your own practice ? Wouldn't they appreciate this kind of "sweet attention" ? Betting they would...and you will enjoy many happily ever afters as a result !
