There are soooo many social occasions and people to see this holiday season...the kitchen is getting a workout ...Hanson Claus still has a few stops to make ....presents have long beenwrapped and sent. One of the celebrations was with our neighbors who have always very kindly...along with their 3 sons been our kitty sitters. They too have a cat but she is a little more "Sedate" than Dini....but most cats are ! Kitty Sitting for Dini...social, friendly guy that he is...made them want to adopt another kitty....Sooooo off to HAWS (Humane Animal Welfare Society) they went to find the kitty that they loved....and would love them back.
Here he is.....we know that his name will start with a K...(not 
Kitty)...and the family has yet to tally the votes. We don't get a vote of course but we like Knight. He is absolutely everything a kitten should be...cuddly, curious and with a "motor" that purrs so loudly we think we will be able to hear him next door.
He loves to be held....Fell asleep after a good romp thru the newly explored great room on his "Dad's" chest...and everyone is delighted to welcome him to the family/neighborhood. (Probably sans Dini who has always relished his "only child"status and his older Brother Magic who looks just like the kitten only larger....has his own floor of the house.) Better behaved than some cats we know...he cuddled on my shoulder and didn't try pulling off my earring.
Speaking as a Cat Mom of many years...and 6 cats...Gypsy, Midas, Vixen, Indy, Cosmo, Magic & Dini.....if you want a present that will warm your heart and in Dini's case ...your feet...he will sit on them for you. Give you unconditional love...yes...do tricks..you need to pay a visit to your local humane society. Your love will be returned many fold.
The Human treats...sorry we didn't make a Pizzatizer...but we did 
make a Baby Swiss Cheese Cake...Mmmm to celebrate the occasion. If you haven't had Cheese Cake for an appetizer...you must not be from Wisconsin !
