Campbell Planning Commission Study Session Tonight March 12 at 7:30 pm.
The Campbel Planning Commission will hold a “study session” this evening at 7:30 PM (City Hall, City Council Chambers) to consider changes to the City’s Accessory Dwelling Unit (ADU) Ordinance on Tuesday, March 12 at 7:30 PM in the City Hall Council Chambers.
State Law requires the City to allow ADUs (also known as secondary units, “granny-flats,” etc.) on properties that allow single-family homes. In time, this could result in the doubling of residential units in Campbell’s neighborhoods.
The intent of the study session is to identify reasonable development allowances that balance the State’s demand for additional housing with residents’ desire to preserve their neighborhoods’ character. Residents are encouraged to attend and participate in the community discussion.
