We Need A Song !
Active Rain's Margaret Rome, Baltimore Maryland wrote about all of the details that need to be addressed when closing on a new house. There is no question that buying a new house opens a whole new chapter in the persons life. Margaret thought a song to sing the day before closing might be fun. Here is one that might address some of the angst, excitement and fear that a buyer might experience.
The song by Phillip Phillip, simply titled HOME, seems to cover some of the ground. I am going to start singing it to my buyers. Do you think it will work?
We need a Real Estate song like
“I’m getting married in the morning”!
We have nothing to sing the night before closing.

Watching and helping new buyers through the excitement and the turbulence of finding the perfect home is like finding that perfect partner, planning the big event and then there is the big day before!
Let's not forget those few minor details that have to be addressed.
We negotiated a great deal for special first-time buyers and there was a real rush getting to closing in just thirty days. We found the perfect house before it was listed and met the seller's terms for a fast settlement.
Here are just a few small “minor” details the night before our real estate consummation :
"Where is the invoice showing the radon mediation has been done,
tested and paid for? "
AND
"What do mean the seller is not coming to closing? "
AND
" The wired funds have NOT been received!"
AND
"We don't have the lender's package yet! "
The settlement is at 11 AM!!
That's just one transaction.
What song to sing the day before closing?

By the way, the closing went off at 11 Am!
