Watching my garden grow is something that I enjoy every day of the year. Digging in the dirt and planting seedlings, going through those long (years) for some flowers to mature to their fullest potential...and then...

Lilies are one of those long-awaited rewards - but, certainly well worth the wait. Their vivid colors and full blooms last a long time during late spring/early summer. Here is a sample of one of our long-awaited lily rewards in our backyard.

Those lilies are enjoying wonderful color, Debe! My lilies haven't blossomed out yet. Usually, they are in their glory in June. But, the protracted winter must have affected them.
