Only 2 days left to make deductible purchases for 2019

Thanks Roy Kelley - I have known one person in my life who didn't bother taking allowable deductions, but most of us would prefer to pay less.

So true, Joan Cox. It's never a good idea to spend money on things you won't use.

However, if you need to spend only a small amount to save a large amount on taxes, there are always supplies that will eventually get used. For instance, printer ink. And in my case, there's always an eventual need for pens, file folders, notebooks, and a few other items that those who are 100% digital may not use often.

Bob Crane We should all try to keep track of where we are financially througout the year. However, knowing the status right now could save a bundle of money.

Lise Howe Yes - and it goes both ways. If 2019 was not such a good year, but things are on track for a profitable 2020, a person might want to put off making necessary purchases until after the 1st.
