Seven and a half years ago son John was married and we hosted the rehearsal dinner at the Driskill Hotel in downtown Austin.
This photo was taken when Geno made a toast to the bride and groom. He talked about how proud he was of John, his accomplishments, choices, direction his life was headed and welcomed his bride into the fold! It made my heart swell with the love and devotion he felt and expressed.
There isn't a day that goes by that we don't think of him or someone doesn't speak his name or tell a Geno story. He was larger than life and touched so many lives.
I found this little plaque with the quote by Winnie the Pooh. It perfectly describes my sentiments.
