Ruby Tuesday at Lakeforest Mall in Gaithersburg is Closed
The Ruby Tuesday restaurant at Lakeforest Mall in Gaithersburg, Maryland has permanently closed. This was the last remaining Ruby Tuesday in Montgomery County. The location was expected to close in the future with the redevelopment of the mall but the earlier closing is related to the coronavirus restrictions which have closed all of the restaurants in the county.

Good morning, Roy... the Ruby Tuesday in Ballantyne closed permanently a few years ago. I'm not sure we have more than one or two left in the entire metro area. Shame... I used to like Ruby Tuesday... but their service really went downhill.

I believe this chain has deteriorated for a long time now. I am not surprised that they are closing, and I think the reality that there are too many malls and retail stores (something we were preaching in the late 80's up until we decided to close our commercial real estate company) has finally sunk in...A

I hadn't been away from my home for 6 days. However, awhile ago, I did go for a walk around my block, to simply get some sunshine and exercise. Many of our restaurants and cafes are closed here.
