Three Bedroom Pool Homes for Sale in Clermont FL October 2020

If you live in the Central FL area or have seen the weather reports for the past week or so, it has been extremely hot. It sounds good to pack up all the necessities and drive to the nearest beach but that takes time and planning. Just imagine having your private pool waiting for you to jump in. It feels really good after a hard day at work or completing all the daily chores. If you have young children, pools are great and keep them away from all the electronics.

One of the reasons why thousands of people move to Sunny Florida each year is its warm weather all year long. I know many who use their pools all year long. I must admit, most of those have heated pools as even our temperatures fall below 70 in the winter months. Not having to pay state taxes is another benefit of living in Florida.

In Florida, having a private pool sounds really good and feels awesome!  With my hectic schedule, I don’t get in the pool as much as I would like to but even just relaxing by the pool early hours of the morning is something I look forward to. Taking care of it easier than you might think. If that’s not something you wish to do, there are plenty of companies who will do it for you and the cost isn’t that high.

If you are thinking of moving to Florida and enjoy having your private pool right in your backyard, your dream can come true.  One of the benefits of living in Florida is the beautiful shining sun on most days. We do have our share of cold and rainy days, however, it is a beach and pool weather most of the year, and no heavy coats needed in the Sunshine State. Though Clermont FL is about a ninety-minute drive to the closest beach, having your own private pool to take a dip after a long day is something Floridians can get used to. How about having your morning or evening beverage by your pool while listening to the birds?

With the warm/hot weather, having a private pool is almost a necessity in FL rather than a luxury. Clermont home buyers looking for a pool home won't be disappointed with the inventory as well as list prices. If taking care of a pool is not something you wish to take on, there are also Clermont FL subdivisions with community pools.

Unlike other parts of the country, FL residents can certainly use their pool more than just a couple of months out of the year.

Pool homes for sale in Clermont FL continue to be in demand for buyers looking to either make a change or moving from colder climates.

Hello Beth,  I have a indoor pool coming on the market in the future and not many in our state.

Hi Will Hamm, I've seen very few homes with indoor pools in Central FL, not a feature most buyers ask for.

Defiantly an indoor pool would add to the family fun, especially in Florida. I live in Canada, yet I think I will go south to spend my winters, how much does a house like this rent for per month?

Hi Greg Brown, Sales Rep Toronto, Durham region, it really depends on the location. Short term rental homes are in the "34714" zip code, they range between $1500-$4000/month. Long term rentals with a pool range $1700-$3900/month.

In Pennsylvania, we used to say a pool did not add value to your home, with this year, many buyers are looking for homes with pools as they want the added convenience of having the pool. We may not be able to use it as much as you in Florida, which is very tempting as many of our homeonwers age they head south.

Good morning, Beth... I'm not much of a pool person (don't even own a bathing suit), but if I lived in Florida, I'd probably be tempted by a house with one.

I find it interesting that indoor pools seem to be the norm in your area, is that truly the case?  Why is that?  I think it is fairly rare in Arizona.

I never see an indoor pool over here on the Space Coast. The market is pretty crazy here in the 300-400k price point.

Hi Beth:

No doubt there are plenty of Clermont buyers who want to have a private pool, and you are the Realtor to help them find the right one.

Pools are fairly popular here, too (both community and private), but indoor pools are very rare.

Beth Atalay - What a great snapshot of what people can expect when they move to Clermont, FL! This line alone makes me think:

"having a private pool is almost a necessity in FL rather than a luxury."

What makes this statement believable is because I live in TX and the same thing is true in both of our states when it comes to air conditioning. Beth, you are a logical thinker and someone who knows more about the climate, the landscape, and what people ought to know about living in Central Florida, particularly Clermont! You explain the difference between luxury and necessity very well!

If we lived in a year-round warm climate, a pool would be at the top of the list. I am happy you are able to enjoy your pool in the morning for a bit.

Oh, we have had 3 homes with pools and I have to say, got our money's worth out of each of them. Like you, it's not only a great way to unwind, taking a leisurely swim but, sitting by the pool in the mornings and in the evenings, is so very relaxing - listening to the sound of the birds, etc.

Great advice for those moving to Clermont FL - and you're certainly the one to call for help with real estate in Clermont!
