The area is bordered on the west by the Airport and NW 42nd Avenue (Lejuene Road), south by NW 14th Street, on the east by NW 27th Avenue, and on the north NW 41st Street. The International Links Melreese Country Club, as well as suburban suburbs, surround the city. Melreese is set to be redeveloped into Miami Freedom Park, a major mixed-use development that will include a new soccer stadium for the David Beckman-led InterMiami soccer team. This upcoming brand-new world-class venue may have a significant impact on the local real estate market. Investors are now paying more than $2,000,000 per acre in the city, unheard of in other industrial areas.

 

The Miami Intermodal Center is a multi-year project to improve ground access at MIA and establish a major transportation hub for the area. Commercial real estate in the East Airport submarket primarily serves the many passengers who fly into and out of Miami International Airport. The majority of the major car rental companies have locations in the region. There are also several car parking facilities for visitors.
