Greater Waterbury Area Fireworks Displays for July 4
As we slowly return to normal, towns in the Greater Waterbury CT area are also tarting to allow large gatherings as well. Indepencdence Day events and fireworks are also making a return. Below is a list of Greater Waterbury towns and parks that will have fireworks displays this week and into the month of July:
June 30
- Oxford:Quaker Farms Vol. Fire Co.’s annual carnival, Oxford High School, 9:45 p.m. (July 2 as well)
July 2
- Meriden: Hubbard Park fireworks display, starting between 9:15 p.m. and 9:30 p.m.
July 3
- Bristol: Lake Compounce show at dusk
- Middlebury:3D Fireworks at Quassy Amusement Park, 2132 Middlebury Rd., 10:15 p.m.
- New Milford: 25 Main St., 7:30 p.m. – 11 p.m.
- Stafford: SummerFest & Fireworks, Stafford High School, 5 p.m. – 10 p.m.
July 4
- New Britain: Great American Boom fireworks to be held at Willow Brook Park at 9:15 p.m. Pre-registration required
- New Haven: Fireworks shot off from East Rock, viewed from Wilbur Cross at 9:15 p.m. (rain date July 5)
- Waterbury:Food truck & fireworks extravaganza, Brass Mill Center, 495 Union St., 2 p.m. – 10 p.m.’
July 9
- Torrington:Carnival and fireworks at Torrington Middle School (gates open at 4 p.m.; fireworks at 10 p.m.). Rain date July 10.
