Brian England is the Vacasa expert!
Rocky Dickerson is one of my favorites in the Rain and is always supportive. Presenting for everyone in the Zoom meeting yesterday was actually fun and I am glad everyone seemed to be interested in what I was speaking about.
Brian England has quite the reputation on Active Rain for being knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. Now he also has the reputation as being the Vacasa expert.
On Tuesday’s Active Rain weekly Zoom call, Brian explained the origins of Vacasa as well as how it works – both for owners as well as vacationers. He even explained how agents can become Vacasa reps in their area as well.
Brian even went to great lengths to not only bring a dynamic presentation to the call, he also worked out all of the technical bugs prior to the call itself.
Brian explained that Vacasa only handles rentals of less than 30 days. They charge owners between 18% and 36% of rents collected and in return they have an amazing team. Properties are inspected, cleaned to Covid-19 standards and then inspected again. From what Brian showed us, these vacation rentals are cleaner and safer than most hotels in my opinion. The vacationing families also have the benefit of a home environment – even though they are in another town.
Vacasa is a company that benefits vacationers, owners and even agents.
