In troubled times, such as the current pandemic, people need friendship, comfort and hope. The Home Church in Campbell invites souls in Silicon Valley-and the world-to meet together online and in person at http://www.TheHomeChurch.org at 9:30 on Sunday, September 19.
Day of Hope, also known as Back to Church Sunday, is celebrated by churches worldwide.
The Home Church invites those who feel comfortable to attend with masks at 1799 S. Winchester Blvd., (x. Latimer and Hamilton), in Campbell, Calif. Sanitizer and masks are available to all.
There will be a complimentary picnic lunch afterwards; all food prepared in a properly certified kitchen in accordance with current COVID-19 guidelines for everyone's safety.
Drawing from Ecclesiastes 4:12, “Though one may be overpowered, two can defend themselves. A cord of three strands is not quickly broken.”
NATIONAL BACK TO CHURCH SUNDAY reminds us that together-individuals, families and friends-no matter your economic situation, the geography of your home or the color of your skin, make God’s church stronger. Together, we can thrive in uncertainty, stay hopeful in a world of doubt, confident as fear grips our community and flourish as one.
All over the world, people are re-gathering safely in virtual and socially distanced events. We look forward to seeing you!
