Hi Joe,
I have a question for you. I mortgage guy called me about doing some work for him and during the conversation I let him know that I was working with you to get financed for a three family. I was complaining that I didn’t quite have enough money to put 15% down. He told me since I am not on the mortgage with me wife, that I could still buy a home as a first time home buyer, is true?
This is by no means the first time that I have heard something this stupid. Some folks would be willing to risk doing something fraudulent and risk jail time, but not me. I would never allow a client to do something so foolish!
