Ole Glory Flying in Temecula CA

It seemed appropriate to share my 2nd submission for the Ole Glory Coast to Coast contest today, Flag Day 2022.

I was getting off the I-5 freeway in Temecula on Saturday, on the way to my open house at my new listing. Way off in the distance on the other (west) side of the freeway I noticed this rather large flag high in the blue sky, waving in the wind, and immediately thought…I have to grab a photo of that when heading home from my open house.

And so I did.

The flag is flying at the Jack in the Box with mountains in the background and waving wildly in what was a rather windy day. It's hard to tell how large the flag is but it made me wonder how big the largest America Flag is.

Ironically, Carla Freund provided an answer in her wonderful post and video posted that very morning, that I saw later that night. Take a look – you’ll be impressed. And be sure to watch the video.

Great shot! I just recently went out of my way to get pics of Ole Glory!

I hope your open house was a big success. In Sedona, there was no reason to hold open houses up until now. Homes are not moving as fast as they once were. I am always "open" to having an Open House!

Thank you Sheri Sperry - MCNE® I'm just glad it didn't slip my mind. But I was there the next day, too if I HAD forgotten.

Things are shifting here, too. Still busy but more inventory and I think the rates are having an impact on buyers, or certainly some of them. And one agent I talked to said Open Houses are not nearly as busy as they were a month or two ago.

I was in Temecula only once. It is lovely to explore the rolling hills and vineyards of wine country. Do you guys still have those blue hot air balloons fly over the valley?
