I had a call, yesterday, from an agent who asked to have his client view my new listing. We set an appointment for Sunday.
Today, I had a call from the very same agent ... he asked if I would be willing to show the property to his clients ... and he would not attend. While I currently am accompanying my showings on that property, I still wanted to know the "why" about it.
He sheepishly told me that he'd had a... well, kind of a ... mild heart attack. He went on to explain that he'd awakened this morning, with a little heartburn that just wouldn't go away. He made his way to urgent care, and they immediately called his wife and sent him off to the ER.
They hooked him up to the Real Estate Agent monitor and he was having a heart attack whilst hooked up to the monitor. They explained that he was gonna be fine... and was fortunate he came in as quickly as he did, because it had the potential to be a big one. In the meanwhile they've put him on a blood-thinner, and told him to take it easy (not always easy in our profession).
I was happy to aid in his recovery. I hope he retains enough energy to write up a clean and generous offer.
