There are no rules about the length of time a staycation can be. Some consider it a get-away week-end. Some consider it a 24 hour period to relax and luxuriate in absolute peace and tranquility.
Then there are some us who just need a brief respite and will settle for a mini staycation …say 5 hours! You laugh but 5 hours of no phones, emails and only spending time with some beasties and switching to “robe mode” can make a new person out of you!

Recently three of us beasties experienced the most delightful 5 hours, having lunch, wine, shopping in the gift shop, massages and just enjoying the quiet luxury of indulgence. A total magical experience!
