Hmmm... I guess I never shared this. Found it in my Drafts folder. Soooo... I updated it and present it to you now.
January 2023 is almost finished. Spring is coming but, there's still February and March to get through, Say it ain't so!!! lol
Lately, we've been hearing more and more about banning natural gas usage in our homes & businesses. Locally the City of Brookline banned natural gas usage in all new construction. In our own town, we have just installed charging stations at the Town Hall, Library, and Park for electric vehicles. Some States are mandating that 50% of all vehicles sold should be electric (battery-operated) by 2035. MassSave® is a collberative of Massachusetts gas and electric compnaies that offers enery audits with significant cost savings and rebates. They have an arm that performs small remodeling jobs. e.g. They'll do your kitchen but you'll have to swap out your gas stove for electric. If I remodel my basement I'd need to install electirc heat for that area. But, I digress.
There's much talk, both pros, and cons, regarding the future of electric cars and their functionality.
Kinda gives you an understanding of when the horseless carriage first showed up on the scene. Needless to say, most people thought this wouldn't last long. Nothing would replace the horse, right? Think again.
Now we have electric (battery-operated) vehicles. The best known was the brainchild of Elon Musk known as TESLA. When it first came out it caught the eyes of the public and was a sleek-looking vehicle.
The future is here and we better get used to battery-operated vehicles becoming more popular. Here's a fun commercial on the battery-operated vehicle. (spoof)
THUS, be aware the move to electric is here and will not go away.
