Aren't you glad we don't hear our food talk , or cry?

Hopefully we all of lists of things we are thankful for, inexhaustible lists. Timmothy's cartoon reminds me of how thankful I am for everyone out there in the world of agriculture. North Dakota is an agricultural State, number one in many agricultural products.

I am not sure where all those Ag products are processed but I am also thankful to those folks who take care of the process for us. Many years ago (still in my teens) I worked in a slaughter house. It's not a pretty sight to see but it didn't slow my desire to eat meat. Now if those cows could talk it may be a different story.

We had 13" of snow over the weekend Will Hamm but yesterday was nice with no wind. Today is pretty nice and tomorrow will be in the upper 30's BUT there is a lot of snow to melt out there.

Timmothy writes for two news papers, one daily and one weekly Lise Howe . The daily needs a three panel strip and the weekly needs a single panel cartoon. That and college keeps him very busy yet he made the Presidents list this past semester. He is a very bright young man.

Yes, I am happy that food can't talk although I never knew I was happy about that until now!

The processing I am talking about Endre Barath, Jr. would be the slaughtering/butchering of our meat as well as baking of bread and so forth. Even though I do have an occasional TV diner for lunch Carol does prepare 95% of our meals.

I am not a fan at all of food being processed and I would certainly eat that baby carrot whole if it was preventing me from taking a nap, haha.

Brian England I may be misunderstanding you and Endre Barath, Jr. as to the meaning of "food processing". To me if a carrot is pulled out of the ground and washed that is the most basic of food processing. Cutting the top off the carrot is processing. Killing the cow and making it into cuts of meat is processing. What am I missing?

BTW I agree that I'd eat that carrot in a heart beat.

I agree with your idea of processing Bob "RealMan" Timm, it's the highly processed foods in the stores that are boxed up for people to poison their bodies so that big pharma can benefit from it that I disagree with, haha.

Much of North Dakota is expected to be hit by another blizzard today/tomorrow Roy Kelley but the maps I've seen make me think Minot will dodge the bullet this time.
