Flatwoods Park in New Tampa can be entered via Bruce B. Downs or Morris Bridge Road. The main entrance is located about five miles north of I-75 on Morris Bridge Road. The Flatwoods Visitor center is located a half mile after entering the park entrance on Morris Bridge Road.
Bicyclists and inline skaters enjoy the use of the loop road. Hikers, joggers, bird watchers, and folks wanting to walk their dogs in the country also enjoy this park located in the heart of New Tampa.
