Obama keeps drifting further from what's RIGHT!

Senator Obama blasts the bible. He takes passages and just distorts things. He calls the Sermon on the Mount "so Radical." Give me a break. The only radical is Obama. I'm not a big McCain fan at all. In fact, this year I'm voting against someone as opposed to voting for someone. It's too bad that we don't have candidates with moral conviction and fortitude. Either way, I think that Obama is getting exposed. I only hope that he becomes fully exposed prior to this election

I couldn't agree more.  I don't even think I am going to vote.  Why?  Obama is not someone I want to be running the country I love and I am not a Republican.  Now what?

Try to remember that in this country we have a separation of church and state. That's why it shouldn't make a difference what someone's religious beliefs are. Frankly I'm happy if any candidate believes in one God!

I believe he will be exposed. And to paraphrase Joe Biden, we don't have time for a President to learn on the job.

Puts People In Their Places!!

Larry,

I'll say one thing for Barack, he's right, Americans really haven't been reading their bibles... I mean if they were, they would see right through him.

This question is directed to anyone who reads this fine post... when was the last time you opened up the bible and read and prayerfully considered Gods word?  He has warned us of those that will come and distort his Word.  We are coming into a time when Christians are going to see and feel persecution like never before.  If Obama loses in this election, there will be someone just like him in the future.  We can't put our faith in any man/woman.  The only way we are able to discern what God is saying is by praying and reading his word!

I'm sorry if I got off on a tangent, but I don't see this as a political battle,  but rather a spiritual one!  I urge  each and everyone of to pray for leaders, and pray for our country.  We need God now more than ever!!

Sad thing he is right Americans have given up , they don't read there Bibles .  If they did they would see a false teaching and If they really read the Bible and read Revelations they would see that most everything that is happening is warn in Revelations. It is as if Americans have there head in the sand.  People need to wake up before it is to late, I am like you there is not a candidate I really care that much about, but we need something to get Americans awake!

Hi Larry, Good post.  I'm still shocked that America is buying what he's selling which is "change". No thanks. I like the way things are. I want to keep my money in my family, I like security of the United States. With Obama, I can kiss my money goodbye and hello to all these ridiculous programs that I will be paying for and I will have to worry about the safety of my kids and all Americans.

We need an exposuremeter for all politicians. They all are hypocrits and need to be in church each Sunday, perhaps every day. In fact, let's fire them from their jobs and just retire them to church.

I cannot afford Obama. His programs will cost too much and our national security will be out the window.

To Rick,

Good comment and sadly is probably on the mark. Even when we do read the Bible, do we understand God's inspired Word? Many in the church do not I'm afraid. Many put their own interpretations to it, twist it and such. It is a living, breathing text. It gives life to all. It addresses everything we could possibly need to know to live our lives.

You throw out a tremendous challenge in what you state. In a book I recently read "The Blessed Life", the author points out that titheing isn't just about money. God wants a minimum of 10% of everything. That includes our time. Do you know how hard it is to find 10% of your day, that's 2.4 hours, to spend with God? If it were easy, it wouldn't be worth as much. It requires sacrifice.

I don't know how accurate this video was, how out of context, nor do I care. I believe the sentiment is accurate though, we need to go to battle over this, in the Spirit realm, not the natural realm. If we do our work in our prayer closets... this country will regain it's destiny and rightful place as protector of the world.

Our sworn enemies, the radical Islamic terrorist groups, understand this. They have a tremendous diligence and discipline in their prayer life. Can we match it? Look up Lou Engle and join the Call if you believe this post.

I was amazed that only 70,000 people showed up in DC to fast and pray the other week. I really thought we'd be able to get a few hundred thousand there... We Need To Care!

OK, going off the deep end now... great post and let's pray, Father, help us!. Amen.

Bob

Kathy...it is sad.  Yes we do need to wake up.

LaNita...He is far left of his own party.  He's dangerous b/c he's articulate and intelligent.  He's one dangerous dude.

Jim...funny thoughts.

Kevin...I agree

Bob...wow...I love it.  Very expository to me as well.  Thanks for having me ratchet it up a bit in my heart.

James....The Wall Street Journal did it's own study and found that Obama is more left than all but 2 of the house of reps or senators.  Let's hope that he get's exposed.  He's articulate and dangerous.

The media wouldn't even expose John Edwards.  It took the National Enquirer to do it.

For those of you who think that the Republican Party and John McCain have the moral high ground, read this article about how he dumped his first wife, the one who took care of his kids while he was in Vietnam. He married his trophy wife, Cindy a month later. Oh, in the meantime Carol McCain was in an accident that left her crippled. I guess she was damaged goods at that point. Read Mary Mitchell's column in the Sept 16 Chicago Sun Times, available online. For some reason the link is not working in AR.

Rich...good words on the faults of one man.  I'm talking about a guy who lives and votes left of his own party.  Not addressing the morality issue.  He just doesn't "think" like the average american.  The Wall Street journal (a left wing paper) analyzed his voting record and came to the conclusion that he's the 3rd most left in his party of all the house and senate.  BUT HE TALKS SMOOTH...and is ARTICULATE.  He's dangerous!  I'm not a McCain fan at all, but I can't support a FAR LEFT wing radical!

Rich...we'll agree to disagree.  Sarah is hardly a right wing radical though.  She believes that the constitution rules just as the founders had designed.  Judges weren't to create law.  Family is a supreme value and the individual is not greater than the whole.  She may be far right from you, and that's OK...but it's hardly radical to follow the intent and beliefs of our founding fathers.  I know I'm digressing bud, but such is life.  Thanks for the discourse.  Go Kane County!  At least we agree on that.
