September 1, 2008 is a special day for the Crawford's. It marks 29 years of marriage to a fantastic women my wife Ellen! We were married in Brooklyn New York in St Thomas Aquinas Church at 11 Am in a nuptial mass that was con-celebrated by two priests. It was a great day, and promised a great life. We have not been disappointed it a fantastic life that netted us ups and downs but we have 2 great sons and have accumulated a lot of great friends and happy memories. We also have had the opportunity to come together and work as a true husband and wife team in real estate...that has made it even better. To this day we still do almost everything together. Real estate is one of those things that I personally believe has allowed us to have an even better marriage. Real estate has become a something we both really enjoy and we are good at it. Even though real estate is not without its issues, we can both participate in the solutions and challenges that it brings. It has allowed us to be parents that were allowed to participate in the lives of our children. The flex in our schedules allowed one of us or both to be present for our children for after school activities, band, sports, piano lessons and more. The combined income in real estate allowed us the opportunity to send our children to better schools, and pay for those college bills. Real estate has allowed us an opportunity to focas on meaningful goals in life and not about stuff. Short term goals of paying tuitions and providing for medical needs became more important to us than the cars we drove or homes we've owned. For both of us real estate was the perfect match for us and our marraige. It afforded us an opportunity to have common goals, have fun and spend a lot of time together.
The interesting thing about life is that perspectives may change in life. The dreams and goals in life become a reality in life if we do not take our eyes off the goal. For us as a couple, we've been through our shares of sickness and health, but beleived it was important to feel just hang in there a little longer. Guess what? It works! Storms pass, seasons change but the tapestry of life weaves a beautiful pattern when you stay on the intended path in life. It is worth the stress. We are most blessed, and want to share our joy with all!
