Who needs blogging - I've been dogging lately

I have a new puppy! She's so adorable and cute, I just have to show her off......

It's been really hard to get any blogging done with a distraction like this. At least she is a very good puppy and after some serious playtime, she's ready for a couple of hours nap. Kona is now sleeping all through the night. haha. Since she will be an outdoor dog, we have transitioned her to sleeping in her DOGLOO already and she is quite cozy with a sheepskin rug in her little igloo house on the deck.

She came from a litter of 8 - from a home in Waikapu Maui. Both parents were Jack Russells, but looked quite different from each other. I think we got the best looking pup! : )

How adorable! I love that really close up face shot!

Kona is so cute! I can almost smell the puppy breath! Great pictures.

I'm jealous. Here's Samson and Delilah when they were still puppies. Brings back sweet memories to me. Samson is 3.5 yrs. but still acts like a big puppy.

Kona looks very comfortable around a camera. Love how the ears tip forward! As she develops the boundless Jack Russell energy, I'm sure there will be times you'll both be ready for a nap.

Pete you know I had a good excuse today.... all I could do was an old newsletter.

Bill - sure she lives outside... but it's in Hawaii and it never gets cold. Yes I probably would make my kids sleep outside too... haha.

I've had pets all my life: dogs, cats, cows, pigs, horses, snakes, rats, mice, guinea pigs, chickens, owls, parakeets, parrots, monkeys, ants.... probably a couple of others that I'm forgetting. Right now I'm in a cat phase with Zoey.

What a sweetheart!! She looks a friends pup named Simon. Take lots of pictures they grow upto quickly. Take a look at my husbands christmas gift.( I KNOW ITS EARLY). Since Max passed away he is depressed and I am hoping little man will help him through it. He will be ready to come home on Halloween. Any suggestions on names will be greatly appreciated.

gEORGINA, Your new pup is adorable, congratulations. I am sorry to hear that she will live outdoors though, you and she will be missing so much not having her around as a companion. Dogs are social animals

Pamela - OMG what a cutie-pie! How can you stand waiting until the end of the month? I suppose Pumpkin would be too corny of a name, but what a cute pumpkin he is.... maybe Pupkin!

Tanya - looking at these pictures now, I see she has grown a lot, but still so small and lovable.

Patrice - all our pets live outdoors, but we bring them in on supervised visits. Kona loves her playtime on the bed after her baths. And we spend most of our time outside as well, in the garden, yard (7.5 acres), on the decks, so we aren't missing much. The dogs get plenty of walks and other exercise. It would just be too nutty with 2 Jack Russells in the house chasing the cat all around....they can do it outside to their heart's content.

Gayle - the 2 of them together burn off a lot of energy. I think because we live in an isolated location, they will keep out of trouble.... and never leave the property without a human escort.
