LA James College

I was talking to a great friend of mine that I grew up with just the other day. It blew my mind that he had 3 children. The funny thing is that all three are already out of high school and he sent two of them off to school in Iowa. When he told me that it was Iowa, I became curious as why Iowa. First off that is a long way from home and secondly I figured they would have followed in his footsteps and go to Georgia.

That is when he told me that they had enrolled in la james beauty college. This cosmetology and beauty school is actually locate in Mason City, Iowa. The college was started back in 1932 by Laura and James Casey and now ran by their grandson, Kevin Rentz. Kevin is accompanied by his life partner, Susan Rentz. Susan is a second professional cosmetologist and educator.

I asked my friend why they picked this school. This is when he educated me in cosmetology. I was told that La James College offers the best curriculum around when it comes to beauty schools. Not only that, they have housing that is provided on a first come, first serve basis. I had never really heard of any beauty school that was doing that.

He then proceeded to tell me that his two daughters wanted to have something to fall back on that they could do on their own and not be tied down to a company. As in the Real Estate industry, Cosmetology license follow the person, not the company. So, if the girls ever want to start their own business, they can. And knowing their dad, I am sure that is just the thing that they have in mind.
