While the previous owners spent months and millions correcting the problem the project came to a grinding halt, and creditors were soon knocking at the original developer's door. Enter The Donald. 
The savvy bankers knew who to call to the rescue. As a shameless, self-proclaimed savvy real estate agent I'm following those bankers' example. Here's the first group of clients I'm calling:
Residential Income Property Investors: Yesterday I sent listings of bank owned residential income properties selling for approximately 50% of their 2005 purchase price to investor clients. I have a few clients who were priced out of the market because they had the audacity to actually expect positive cash flow and not rely on equity as their only source of growth. That novel idea may be back in vogue.
If you have the down payment, qualifying income and credit score, and are willing to invest some sweat equity on property improvements, your real estate empire beckons.
