The Answer To Busy People Who Want To Read More

I love to read books, whether fiction books or business books. I enjoy expanding my mind and my knowledge in a way that only books can bring. The biggest problem that I face is that I work so much, and when I'm finally at home I tend to take care of what I need to around the house and then head to bed. I sometimes get a few minutes of reading in before I turn the lights off, but that's usually it.

Several years ago, however, I discovered the beauty of books on tape, or books on CD. Most of the titles that I wanted to read were available on audio book format. The big problem there was that they were VERY expensive.

A solution was easily found - the local library! The Greenville County SC library system has thousands of audio books, and if they don't have something, it can usually be found on interlibrary loan.

I drive for many hours each week, so I use that time to do my reading. I try to go through a business book and a fiction book each month, unless I get an extremely long book.

Audio books don't have to be played in cars. You can download many books on i-tunes for your iPod. You can even take an audio book on CD and put it on an iPod.

Check out your local library and utilize all of that driving time to your advantage!

Bill,

My husband listens to audio books all the time. He downloads them from the internet onto his iPod and loves it!
