While most of the community is complete, there are several communities that are still building, with new homes for sale.

Atherton, with a total of 71 homes, is located near the top of the community, with some new homes offering spectacular views of the back country hills and to the south for many miles. Some homes even have distance ocean views with amazing sunsets.

At this time (December 31, 2008), there are 6 homes (Plan Two - 3511 to 3722 SF with 4-6 bedrooms and other options; and Plan Three - 3542 to 3741 SF with 4 - 6 bedrooms and other options) available in the Atherton community, built by Richmond American. Three (3) of the homes are premier view lots (see pic above).

Homes are priced (without landscaping) from $670,000 to $720,000, which is a great value for this size home, especially if one takes advantage of the low interest rates we are currently seeing. One home is available for a 3-day move, others are estimated to be ready to close in July 2009.

Residents pay $85 per month in HOA fees. The property taxes and Mello Roos Fees total approximately 1.8% per year. There are 2 schools in the community, a 19-acre park, 1100+ acres of open space, spectacular vistas, 18 miles of hiking and biking trails, and a growing town center with a new Albertsons Grocery (including Savon Pharmacy).
