91 Comments on President Obama's Social Media Toolkit, Very good advice, featured posts
Marti, just dropping by to let you know I like your "new" look....;-)
I'm happy that today he put a freeze on salaries for the white house staff. That's a step in the right direction.
Steven... I'm not a fan of big government either but I do welcome the change.
Teri... thx for the feedback on the new look and for another excellent contribution to the group!
Kristal... definitely nice to see even a simple example set at the top!
Marti, I too admire the way that President Obama utilized all types of social media to reach out to America and convey his message of hope and change. Great post with some terrific insights as always. I need to also chat with you about some design work I need done. Will touch base with you about that soon. Take care and happy blogging!
Jason... same here, the social media aspect is what really cauight my eye about him. Just saw your email, will send you more info about my stuff.
Marti,
Yes the world needs something to be happy about, and if it is an American President all the better.
President Obama has, make no doubt about it, a long hard road. People must stay by him, for he will carry a great burden. I think he feels a calling, to do all he can. He is bright and articulate as any one I every seen. Let's hope, politics doesn't hold back his hopes and dreams.
Richard
Richard... re "Let's hope, politics doesn't hold back his hopes and dreams"... very well said. I'm an optimist so I have high but realistic hopes.
Marti - Well said as usual and a very wonderful/informative post. thanks for all the links in here and I will bookmark to come back again. Positive is the only way to be in this current market and state of the union. If you're not then you're sunk. Keeping it real man! Positivity is the only way! Bob H
I have downloaded the article and I hope to find at least one thing I can put into action right away. Thanks for the post.

Marti
Lots of great tips. How do I get ahold of you to help me with my web presence, SEO, image, connecting links like Linkedin, facebook, twitter, and cluster mao, and v=blog log.

What do you say, should I email you unser/passwors and sites?
All my best

Marti, it was interesting to hear the point of view of someone outside the US. "When the US sneezes..." is an apt observation. It was clear when our markets tanked, and the rest of the world experienced the ripple effect. Hopefully, as we recover, so too will everyone else.
Debi
Robert... well said, positive works for me as well.
Shameca... excellent, enjoy!
Tom... I sent you an email earlier, say hi to Lars for me. ;-)
Debi... I hope so, the whole world could use a turn around right about now!
Hi Marti-great post and I too have been feeling awesome and have spent a great deal reading...educating myself and really appreciating the World Hope feeling! President Obama is fresh and unique...and truly reminds me of JFK! People tend to judge too quickly...even in 100 days its not enough...the damage has been going on for years and years!
I've been doing a lot of reading outside the rain..its great because I need your list more than ever! xoxo
So far I'm very impressed by his ability to read the pulse of the nation. He also appears to be rather collected and willing to take on the challenge. One week down and a few to go he's looking good to me.
Midori... same here, my RSS reader is full of stuff, fortunately I'm able to scan all the goodies quickly. ;-)
Chuck... well said, he's reading the pulse of the nation & the world quiet well so far.
Marti, thanks for the wealth of informaion you provided and touched by your comments about my man, Obama... Oh, yes, I am an Obamacrat! So much so that on the day before the inauguration I was in Calgary teaching a staging class and when in the middle of it one of my wonderful Canadian students reminded me that tomorrow was the day.. I burst into tears and had a hard time getting back my professional composure... OK, I felt like an idiot, but they understood and were kind to there blubbering idiot of an American instructor... Thanks to all the Canadians who have had nothing but encouragement over the last year for us as we tried to change history.
Joanne... believe it or not, the Obama election generated more interest here than our own elections. ;-)
Hi marti I am just checking in to see how you are doing. It was Jackson Pollock's birthday earlier this week ( I wrote a post about it even though it has nothing to do with real estate) and I thought about you. I am planning on listening in to the radio show about outside blogs today. I am thinking I want to do it but want to be sure that you would be able to help me customize it as much as possible. I will be in touch with you soon and hope all is well in your world!
Marti, Hello!!
From one half Irish/half French Canuck to another.....you're amazing at pulling together these super informative and entertaining posts. I especially enjoyed the BMW one....now that's VERY innovative marketing.
Jo
Russell... if you like Jackson Pollock, check out his biography (movie) by Ed Harris, it's excellent.
Jo... gawd there seems to be a lot of the Irish/French mix around here. ;-)
