Promote your Listings with a "Walk Score"

I just noticed a new feature on Postlets.com.  If you use the premium Postlets eFlyer to promote your listings, potential buyers will now receive a "Walk Score" for the property.  This new tool helps home buyers determine how close the property is to restaurants, parks, etc. 

I visited the Walk Score website and you are able to plug in any address -- even if you don't use Postlets.com -- and determine the score for your listing, as well as a map with links to local churches, pubs, restaurants and more.  It's great! 

As an agent who specializes in the Intown -- or Downtown -- Atlanta neighborhoods, being able to walk to parks and restaurants is VERY important to my home buyer clients.  If you work in a similar area, this is a nice touch when you promote your listings ... and it's free!

Whew thanks for that update... I almost thought your were going to say the "Walk score" was something else like how close the property is from making a buyer "Walk away from buying" score... whew boy would that change the industry standards a bit right? Wow... now that I think about it...many agents would be sure to point this out to sellers so that might be a good thing... hymmm... interesting!

Hi Kerry, I noticed that on postlets the other day too. I just tried it. It didn't have my street on it which is about 5 years old.  I put in the address at the intersection of my street and the one it runs off of and it gave it a 69 walk score.  That's pretty cool.
