Super Bowl 2009Not being a huge football fan, I was wondering how many Active Rain members are watching the Super Bowl today.

It would seem that clients are preoccupied with the game today as the phone is silent.

Good day for me to catch up after a busy week with no time to blog.

I heard that the commercials today for Super Bowl are geared more for the rough economy that we are currently experiencing. I'm curious so the TV is on in the background to catch the commercials.

Are you a commercial fend or are you routing for the Cardinals or the Steelers ?

Did you get your 3D glasses to watch the commercials? After the game, let me know what your favorite commercial was or if you had one.

Now, back to blogging, commenting, listening and catching up with all my computer work...

No Super Bowl (or commercials) for me.  I wrote an offer this morning and am waiting for a client to arrive to view properties this afternoon.  Like you, I'm catching up on my blogging.

Gena, I'm not a big fan but we are meeting up with friends for dinner and I'm sure all the t.v.'s will be tuned in. Have a great evening.

Gena, Game will be on and I will be in front of the computer but can still watch the game and the commercials. It would have been really exciting if our Ravens had made it to the Super Bowl

I had a contract ratified this week and waiting for an answer on an offer written yesterday.

Margaret, congrats on the ratified contract and hope you hear soon on the other one.

Sorry about your Ravens...there is always next year.

Let me know what your favorite commercial was after the game or if you had one.

Hi Gena, I'm not watching or listening... is that unpatriotic?  We are between service from one satellite company and the other.  It is so peaceful without that damn TV on.

Georgina, I hear ya!! Just listen to the ocean and soak up that beautiful Maui sun!!!

We'll tell you all about the game later.

Right now, my favorite commercial is the Clydesdale horses with the Dalmatian dog for Budweiser.

And the Steelers are ahead by 3 points.

My dear Gena...

Don't tell anyone Shush...don't tell, I did not watch the superbowl I think it's considered Un-AmericanInstead I opted for a love story with Diane Keaton.  It was a great day!  Keep selling all those homes in Sacramento, so glad to hear you are having a fast start in 2009 and had a banner 2008.  Your TX friend, Liz

Jennifer, I understand completely. It is amazing how much we have to catch up on when we get a chance, isn't it. Don't worry i won't tell.

I watched both, I did love the game as it was unbelievable. The commercials were pretty good - love the Doritos ones.

Sharon, it really was a good game. I listened and watched the commercials but to be honest when I would hear the roar, it did spring me from my computer to watch and see the replays.

That one touch down was really unreal ... I think they said it was the longest yardage in history if I'm correct.

The doritos commercials were good. I just happen to be an animal lover and anything with an animal gets me every time.

Gena,

I was too busy feeding over 25 people in my house!

The kids and my hubby watched it and of course the kids liked it but hubby said they weren't as good as the "good old days" (whatever that means!)

Good for you for taking time to get caught up!
