I love South Bend and cannot imagine "home" being anywhere other than here. South Bend is growing and building and I swear..if you go away for just a couple of years you would come back to a completely different landscape! Finally the south side of our city is getting more shopping opportunities and we are enjoying more restaurants. Yeah!!!!
Notre Dame is a huge asset to our community and I still never tire of going to the campus which is so awesome it gives you shivers..To get across South Bend you are constantly traveling over the St. Joseph river which snakes its way through several towns in northern Indiana and on to Michigan. So, if someone tells you to go over the river to reach your destination here in South Bend...you need better directions!! Just being silly..
