Bloggers Block...

By
Real Estate Agent with First Realty Company

I'm in a slump. I have a serious case of bloggers block. Maybe its been the cold weather, but I've not had any ideas come to me to blog about. Normally I can take some pictures and blog about them, but theres not been anything worth taking a picture of. Well no inspriation has hit me anyways.

Does this happen to anybody else? Anybody got any ideas of how to break out of this. I need some help lol...

If the weather is breaking in your area, I'd say it's time for you to get out! Check out some new restaurants in your area, see what's happening at your local real estate board, catch a new film at the theater.  See a sunrise.  Watch the sunset.  That will get your creative juices flowing again!

I have it every day.  I just type anyway...eventually something cohesive comes out and I edit it down to a blog post.  Show that bloggers block who's the boss!

HI PATT!  Happens a lot.  Sometimes, I just look a few calendars and see what "day" it is and write about that.  For instance, tomorow is National Dentists Day.  Other times, I just go look at vacant homes and find a few things that I could write about!  Good luck un-blocking -- Gabrielle

I like to check out the community section of the local newspaper to see if any new business, restaurant or special event is happening in the area.

Nice post Patt. Yeah you are not alone. We all get the blocks from time to time. I usually try to follow the news and look at it through the eyes of a real estate professional and a consumer. I try to answer the questions that people would naturally have.

Hello Patt,

I have only been at this for a month so I have not hit a wall yet but if I do I will certainly remember some of the good advice you have gotten here.

Hi Patt.  I often share this dilemma with you - what to write about?  I've just written a post about a great blog that is full of ideas about how to come up with topics for your blog and just about everything else related to blogging.  You can find it at my group: Technology for Real People.

Good luck - I bet your "block" won't last long - sometimes we just need a break.
