Another Income Stream

As most of my regular readers know, I am a big proponent of using the tools available to you to help you make a living. In a volatile economic time when many, not all, have seen their business levels decrease, it is important to do what you can to ensure your family's financial well being.

I have seen some good real estate professionals, and some not so good, leave the industry in the past couple of years. Many of these people have left an industry and profession they love and that is a shame. While some professionals have supplemented their income through part time work, many have families and cannot in good conscience spend even more time out of the house. There is an alternative to taking a second job that you can do from home. While many may view paid blogging as negative, I see this type of social media marketing as an opportunity to supplement your income from home. It may not be for everyone, rarely is anything, but it is something to look into if the situation warrants.

I have been thinking about the same thing.  It is difficult for some people to come up with ideas and to write posts!  We have "experts" help with other types of marketing -- it makes sense to me.

Writing blog posts for money would be great business.  I've seen it in almost every other industry, why not ours.

I don't not believe in paid writing.  What I don't like is paid ghost blogging.  If one of my clients read my blog before they became a client and then called me based on what I wrote I am quite certain they would be disappointed to find out that the person behind the blog wasnt me at all.

Eric, that it is.

Joan, it is a good stream of income.

Todd, that it is.

Rebecca, I can understand you point. With that said, this has nothing to do with ghost writing. This is you writing articles on your pages, so the readers know exactly who is writing them. As for ghost writing, I have done my share and I have to say, when I read the comments and then the answers from the "author", I see exactly what you are talking about in ghost writing. However, it is a big industry.
