Killer IDX (Success Web Systems) Is Killin' Me

Have you heard whether or not Killer IDX by Success Web Systems is out of business? I have been using them for a year now and the customer support although slow has been acceptable...until now. I have called them five times over the last ten days or so and only reach voicemail. What's worse is that I have left three voice messages and not one has been returned. I even left a message with the sales department thinking that they would want to get back to me to "save the account." I haven't heard back from them.

Has anyone else had problems with Killer IDX and Success Web Systems? Please share.

We use them -- and have not had to call them for awhile about anything -- but we had in the past found that calling sales , even for tech support was the way to go and get any help.

Please post what you learn.

I did get a call this evening from Success Web Systems but I was with clients so I couldn't take the call. I know that I can't afford to take a week to call back a client. If I did I would be out of business. I would guess that since they cater to real estate agents that their business is suffering from the current economy/market. NOW is definitely not the time to give me a reason to do business with one of their competitors. I'll keep you posted and thanks for the support.

OK, Killer IDX got back to me and spent considerable time addressing all of my questions. They recently moved and got backed up with returning phone calls. I'm a big fan again. Thanks to everyone who offered their help. W

I had never heard of them, but clearly that is poor customer service. No mater what business you are dealing with, it is frustrating when people don't get back to you.

This is March 2010 and I called Killer IDX Sales twice today and did not receive a return call.

On the other IDX companies I've called have had someone to speak with me right away.

To follow up, Kurt telephoned me after I sent an email. He apologized for being slow to return my call, and assured me that his being slow to get back his fault, and he had just gotten backed up.

He said that Support is always fast to respond. I didn't have a need to contact support at the time. I am considering using Killer IDX and am just waiting to see if it integrates well with my web host.

Killer IDX is a great system. Just ask Kurt Valdes. His wife competes with real estate agents in Arizona. Did the same thing in Tuscon when they lived here.

Killer IDX is great but. The founder Kurt Valdes' wife is a Realtor and competes with the Prescott Arizona Realtors that bought the platform. She just worked a deal with another broker to put it under there name but to compete with the agents that pay you isn't the right thing to do.
