What’s involved in a short sale?First, find out the true market value of your house. A knowledgeable REALTOR®, like myself, will be able to give you a good idea of what your property will probably sell for based on a market analysis. Be cautious of websites where a computer estimates your property’s market value since they may not have complete information or know important things like neighborhood trends and current listings.

Finally, get in touch with your lender and make them aware of your situation. They will tell you in order for them to do a short sale that it must be listed with a REALTOR. After listing your home and getting some forms signed by you I will be able to handle the process until the closing.
