I agree with you Maria Gilda Racelis I'm doing the same thing, so I'll watch this for good recommendations with you. Good idea to post for referrals!

I'm tired of the template look, I want custom.

Maria,

There are so many providers out there. You mention a new look.  Do you want a custom look or to be able to pick from a template?  Do you want a strategy reflected in the site, or do you just want a nice site?  Do you want to do it cheaply?  A

We liked Real Pro systems - but found we could replicate (no content copying) it on the Keller Williams platform for $150 per month savings - which we are in the process of doing.

Maria,

I would lay out a sitemap of how you want it designed and what features you would like on it if you want a custom site. An agent friend of mine just spent 3,200 on a custom site and in my opinion, he spent 2,500 too much. Check out sites like placester.com or websitebox. Maintaing a site if you're not techsavvy will cost you a lot of time and money down the road.

Maria Gilda Racelis check some of the options - TopProducer and Market Leader are good for sure. So is Placester (I really like their simplicity and responsive design.)

It's BLACK FRIDAY - you'll get a great deal and 30-day money back guarantee. Why not try them all?

Well, I'm fond of building my own, so I'm going to recommend WordPress with GoDaddy (or HostGator) as the provider.  As far as someone developing your site for you, I'd recommend to stick local so you can easily communicate with them an go over designs.  Plus make sure your contract states that you own the copyright to the site design and that they cannot use it elsewhere without your express written consent on a per client basis.

Morning Maria,  two years ago I was thinking the same thing.   Many have Word Press sites and are very happy.   I found a template site - Reel Geeks where I can blog, and add many pages of content.   These sites are tops in many of the top cities across the country.

There are many to choose from. You'll probably want someone that builds with wordpress. Site should be mobile responsive. Decide is you want to pay monthly or one time. You'll still have to pay for hosting and domain renewals. There are so many things to consider, so start with price. Sites can cost anywhere from $500.-- to $5000,00+. Do you want idx? video? audio? newletter? social sharing? Theme needs to be researched even though it's fairly easy to change themes. Blog? Colors? Branding? Favicon? Copywriter? Professional photography? Security? Plugins? RSS? ESP? etc, etc.
