There has been some question about whether Fireworks are banned in Fort Bend County, specifically Sugar Land. Here is the exact response from Fort Bend County: Currently there is a ban on restricted fireworks in the unincorporated sections in Fort Bend County. Pursuant to Section 352.051(a)(1) of the local government code, "Restricted fireworks" means those classified under 49C.F.R. sec. 173.100(r)(2) is described as "skyrockets with sticks" and "missiles with fins" are prohibited at this time.
