As most of you who read my posts, we have been supporting the Los Angeles Festival of Books for the past 24 plus years. We missed the first two and then we became loyal supporters year after year.
Yesterday we went and you can read my post of what I thought. Now with that said we did not go this year the second day, like we always did two days in a row. Ironically, I had an easy day with real estate today.

Wordless Wednesday's: Mushroom with seafood Risotto. Yesterday I asked Diane what she would like for dinner: leftover Cioppino or Risotto? Well, the answer too less than a split second... Risotto.
Now with that said I had to go to work. I decided on four mushrooms: Dried Porcini and Dried Shantrell's and fresh seafood mushrooms and fresh King Oyster Mushrooms. For good measure I sauteed some Kale too.
Two I had to soak in the chicken broth and chicken stock while I was sautéing the onions and followed by sauteing the mushrooms.

As most of you know, I have a niche market selling Vacant Land in the greater Los Angeles area. Well today I received a notice from One Drive where my photos are saved unbeknown to me.
It has actually been fun that I get notified daily about photos I took with my cellphone many years ago on the particular date they happened to send to me.

With October two-thirds in the books, naturally a majority of headlines are focusing on next year. Even medical appointments are being made into 2023, as I hear Diane complaining that she needs her 2023 wall calendar. October is one of my favorite months of the year. Generally, the temperatures cool down and I welcome a respite from the summer heat; nights can be comfortable once again for sleeping without air conditioning.
