Sacramento County experienced a -8.3% decrease in number of homes listed FOR SALE in September 2017 vs. the same month a year ago. For the same period there was a -10.9% decrease in homes SOLD. Pending Sales decreased -0.6.7%. Interest rates continue to remain reasonably low. For those able to find suitable homes, it's a GREAT time to buy.

Sacramento County experienced a -26.7% decrease in number of homes listed FOR SALE in March 2016 vs. the same month a year ago. For the same period there was -2.4% decrease in homes SOLD, while Pending Sales increased 4.8%. Interest rates remain low. For those able to find suitable homes, it's a GREAT time to buy.

Sacramento County experienced a -21.5% decrease in number of homes listed FOR SALE in October vs. the same month a year ago. For the same period there was a 2.3% increase in homes SOLD, while Pending Sales increased 27.6%. Interest rates remain low. For those able to find suitable homes, it's a GREAT time to buy.
What a difference a year makes! It is being reported that Sacramento experienced a 30% increase in home values, year over year. And, we are leading the country in housing recovery! A year ago 4 of 5 homes sold were either short-sales or bank owned properties. This year that number has reversed, with 4 of 5 homes marketed being equity sales, as homeowners are finding a return of home value to allow for traditional sales!
