I've noticed that Expired Listings have been a hot topic here on Active Rain recently.  Not surprising considering how many Expired Listings are occurring as inventory far exceeds demand.
So - how can a Seller get their home sold in today's market?  It's a no-brainer that they have to have their home competitively priced.
What does that mean?
If you want to sell your home, and there are 9 equivalent homes on the market - you better be willing to price it at the low end of the range of list prices - AND - if the reason the 9 homes … (22 comments)

One potential revenue stream I have yet to tackle is the Expired Listing market.  With the amount of inventory (close to 60,000) on the resale market, and the number of resale transactions holding relatively steady at about 10% of total inventory on a monthly basis, it seems to me that now is a great time to leverage success stories into listing previously Expired Listings.
The information I would share with a prospect to get their attention would include:
SOLD in 9 DAYS - Listed May 25, 2007 for $619,000 - SOLD June 3, 2007

REALTOR Beware!  This is an actual recent email dialogue between someone contacting me to list their home, my response, and theirs. 
I received a call from them, secured their email address, and sent them a Market Snapshot from Top Producer, to be followed by a detailed CMA that evening.
I then received the following email:
